Accent Radio Frequency Face Treatments at the The Spa 654 Club

The Accent Face Treatment

Radio frequency is the latest technology to tackle face and body areas in need of rejuvenation.

The Spa 654 Club’s RF Face treatment uses unipolar and bipolar radio frequency modalities to heat subcutaneous dermal tissue using a hand piece emitting RF waves. This causes the contraction of the existing collagen fibers, encourages fibroblast migration and promotes new collagen growth that helps to tighten and improve the outer architecture of the skin.

You’ll see the lifting effect and feel how your skin becomes tighter, smoother, and more elastic. There is no down time (apart from the treatment time itself) and minimal discomfort. It is a walk-in walk-out procedure which takes approximately 45 to 55 minutes.

The goal of the radio frequency face lift is to restore a more youthful look by helping to reverse the signs of ageing and gravity. The treatment achieves:

  • The tightening and smoothing of skin resulting in a reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • The tightening of sagging skin around the jowls and neck. · A reduction in the appearance of double chins.
  • Improvement of skin laxity.
  • A noticeable improvement in skin tone.

We recommend a course of 4 treatments for the most beneficial results. We also recommend a maintenance treatment approximately every 6 months after your initial treatment course to maintain the results. The Spa 654 Club offers complimentary personalized consultations to create a treatment regime to achieve results for all skin types with our medical line of skin care, IPL photofacials, Botox and Juvederm injectables, and much more.

The Accent Body Experience

Sure, a fast and easy treatment to get younger-looking skin sounds great — but of course, you want to know what it's really like. We understand that, so we want to give you some idea of what you can realistically expect if you choose to participate in the Accent Your Body treatment.

What is an Accent Body treatment like?

During the procedure, we will use the Accent system to precisely heat the tissue just within your skin's inner layer (dermis). Depending on the size of the treated area, a treatment may take up to 45 minutes.
Following each treatment, you can immediately resume all routine activities. You may notice a slight redness, which should disappear in less than 24 hours. Generally, no more than six to eight treatments at one weeks intervals will be required.

Accent Radio Frequency

Is Accent Body safe?

Absolutely. Incorporating advanced safety precautions, Accent directs proven RF energy to precisely the areas of your skin that you wish to improve. Thousands of patients have been treated safely and successfully worldwide using the Accent laser system.

Does it hurt?

While pain tolerance is subjective, most people tolerate Dual-layer RF Thermotherapy well, and have little or no discomfort. Patients often describe the sensation as a "warm massage." The risk of significant side effects is extremely low.

How Does Microdermabrasion Work?

If you can think of Microdermabrasion like a "superficial skin polishing". The procedure is non-invasive and requires no recovery time, though some skin may remain red for up to 24 hours after the treatment. Microdermabrasion treatments remove dead skin and promote both deep skin tissue and collagen rejuvenation which further promote vibrant, youthful looking skin as well as minimizing fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, and age spots.

What Does Microdermabrasion Treat?

Microdermabrasion treats many signs of prematurely aging skin including fine lines and wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, chicken pox scars, and enlarged pores. Microdermabrasion gets rid of dull, lackluster skin giving you a more youthful appearance.

What Are Microdermabrasion Treatments Like?

Microdermabrasion treatments last less than an hour and are on an out-patient basis. An Aesthetician will clean your treatment area and then will use a jet sterile micro-crystals to gently exfoliate your skin. No anesthesia is needed. Pressure is adjusted for your skin's needs. The Microdermabrasion machine's handpiece is moved across the treatment area delivering a precise stream of crystals onto the skin's surface; the sloughed off skin cells and the left-over crystals are then suctioned off to reveal a fresh, vibrant skin surface. After your treatment, the Aesthetician may choose to apply a light acid skin polishing agent or facial mask to optimize your results.

IPL Photofacial (IPL stands for intense pulse light) is a non-ablative therapies which means that it does not harm or remove the upper layer of the skin. How Does IPL Photofacial Work?

The IPL Photofacial targets a broad spectrum of light to the lower layers of the epidermis causing the skin to produce new collagen and connective tissue, which supports the upper skin layer better and makes the skin surface smoother. IPL Photofacial also targets vascular lesions and symptoms of rosacea and signs of photoaging. A special handpiece will be placed on your skin and will deliver light energy to the targeted area.

What Does IPL Photofacial Treat?

Studies have shown that IPL Photofacial improves vascular complexion problems such as vascular redness (telangiectasias) and rosacea by up to 80 to 90%. IPL Photofacial also treats sun-damaged skin, large pores, hyperpigmentation. IPL Photofacial is also used as a preventative measure against common signs of aging and a wide range of skin types can be treated.

What Are IPL Photofacial Treatments Like?

IPL Photofacial treatments usually take less than thirty minutes. Most patients will have a series of five to eight treatments; each treatment is about three weeks apart. IPL Photofacials have low levels of discomfort. Topical anesthesias are not required, but can be used if the patient chooses to do so. A handpiece is placed over the treatment area and delivers the light energy which can feel like a rubber band snapping against your skin.

Does It Hurt and What Can Go Wrong?

Some people describe the feeling of the light energy delivered to the skin like a rubber band snap. After the treatment discomfort is mild to nonexistent. Immediately after treatment the skin may feel warm and appear pink (easily covered with make up). Very rarely mild swelling or bruising can occur. Most patients can return to work immediately. Because IPL Photofacials are nonablative treatments (nonharming), risk is greatly reduced.

What should I expect from IPL Photofacial Treatment?

Because IPL Photofacials are performed in a series, you will see more improvement after each treatment. After the first session, skin will already look and feel smoother and will have a more even skin tone. Over time sunspots will fade, pore size will reduce and fine lines and wrinkles will smooth out. Rosacea patients will see a progressive improvement with each appointment.
