Expected Result

Chemical peels treat a variety of skin problems by removing dead cells from the skin's surface and stimulating cell turnover. Chemical peels can be used to refresh dull, tired-looking skin as needed or to treat specific conditions. You will see results after each session and results are cumulative. Treatment Time

Usually about 30 minutes, including client preparation. Please allow an extra ten minutes at your first appointment to discuss your concerns and make sure chemical peels are the right choice for you.

Recovery

Moderate activity is recommended after treatment, resume normal or more strenuous activities the following day. Hot baths or compresses, whirlpools, saunas and direct exposure to sunlight of the treated area should be avoided for 48 hours after treatment.

For Best Result

Avoid use of acid-based cleansers and treatment products as directed at your consultation. Sunscreen (SPF 30) should be worn to protect the treated areas if exposed to sun and weather.

How will I know if I'm a candidate for Chemical Peels?

Prior to the procedure, you will have an in-depth consultation to decide if chemical peels are the right choice to treat your concerns. Clients who are pregnant, lactating or taking Accutane are not candidates for chemical peels.
